Please be advised of the following Service Alert on the IP Voice Services platform:

Description

IPVS have been made aware that IP Exchange is investigating an on-going issue on their PSTN media gateways that may cause a few customers to experience sporadic intermittent issues with some calls to or from the PSTN. 

Impact

Intermittent symptoms are likely to include being unable to hear the PSTN party on a call or your PSTN callers reporting that they receive busy tone from time to time when users are available to receive calls.

IP Exchange has escalated this issue to their vendor and are working towards a resolution as soon as possible.

On net calls within IPVS are not affected by this issue.

Should you or your customers experience the above then please raise a ticket with the NOC in the normal manner and include the following details

- number calling
- number called
- date/time of call
- direction of call
- symptoms
