[Comtec Announce] Maintenance window 8th April 2012

Please be advised of the following maintenance window scheduled on our network:

Date: Sunday, 8th April 2012
Start time: 13:00 BST (12:00 UTC)
End time: 15:00 BST (14:00 UTC)

Purpose

Software upgrades of distribution switches at Comtec House.

Impact

Please note that this work will only impact customers hosted at our
Comtec House (LSREI01) data centre. Further, it will not affect
customers with redundant connections to our network.

During the course of this maintenance, we will be upgrading the
software our distribution switches as recommended by our vendor. These
switches are in a redundant configuration and therefore only customers
who are single-homed to our network will be affected.

The expected outage to single-homed customers is 5-10 minutes while
the switches reload. In the event that a rollback is required, there
will be a further such outage.
