[Comtec Announce] IP Voice: Maintenance window 28th September 2010

Please be advised of the following maintenance window scheduled on the
IP Voice platform.

Date: Tuesday, 28th September 2010
Start time: 04:30 BST
End time: 08:00 BST

Purpose

Enabling T38 fax as an option in addition to existing features.

Impact

IP Exchange POP(s) impacted: Kingston Signalling Gateways
Expected risk to service:   LOW.

There will be periods of between 3 and 5 seconds that will prevent the
gateway currently being upgraded setting up new calls, this will not
impact calls already established, and new calls made during this 3-5
second window will be automatically re-routed to other signalling
gateways.  Work at each site will be validated before progressing to
the next site.

Note, this maintenance is the first of two, and only upgrades half of
the platform capacity.

T38 will not work consistently until the second maintenance is
complete in mid October.
