[Comtec Announce] [IP Voice Services] CORRECTION: Planned Engineering Work 01/12/2012

Please be advised of the following planned engineering works on the IP Voice Services platform:

Date: Saturday 01/12/12 22:00 to Sunday 02/12/12 04:00

Purpose

The Engineering Team will be carrying out works to upgrade the software version on parts of the Core Voice architecture and Service Delivery Platform between 22:00 on 01/12/2012 and 04:00 on 02/12/2012.
 
Impact

Expected impact is LOW.

During this works window when service is transferred between system elements a minority of endpoints may receive a SIP error response to new call requests, in the unlikely event that this persists or has any ongoing effect we recommend rebooting the hosted handset or phone system in the first instance. 

They will also be restricting access to the Service Delivery Platform between 22:00 and 04:00.

Please refrain from scheduling any provisioning activity during the work period.

End User features can be managed through User's Toolbar applications and/or Feature Access Codes (FACs) as normal.
