Please be advised of the following planned engineering works on the IP Voice Services platform:
Date: 22:00 to 23:00 on Sunday, 13/07/2012
Purpose
The IPVS Engineering Team have had to RESCHEDULE Emergency Planned Engineering Works as detailed in PEWA0088 below scheduled for 08/07/2012 22:00 - 23:00 and the works will now be performed on 13/07/2012 22:00 - 23:00.
The IPVS Engineering Team will be changing functionality of the Core Voice processing platform elements specifically relating to the auditing of active calls.
Impact
Whilst IPVS will make every effort to minimise the disruption as a result of this work, due to their nature there is a low risk that some customers may experience brief interruptions of up to 60 seconds as service is automatically re-distributed between the elements, before their device has re-registered.
If users do find that they are experiencing problems following the work window we recommend that they reboot their device.
If a reboot does not resolve the issue then please raise a Technical Support Ticket for investigation.
We will be continually monitoring Voice and Network services throughout the period of works to ensure that no unforeseen issues are experienced.
Regards,
Comtec Network Operation Centre
