[Comtec Announce] [IP Voice Services] - Planned Engineering Work: Saturday, 03/03/2012 to Monday, 05/03/2012

Please be advised of the following planned engineering works on the IP Voice Services platform:

Date: 21:00 to 23:59, on Saturday 03/03/2012 for non voice services and 23:59, Sunday 04/03/2012 to 02:00, Monday 05/03/2012 for voice services.

Purpose
The engineering team will be moving traffic from LACP channel between Telecity 8/9 - Telehouse East to new LACP channel between Telecity 8/9 and Telehouse West on 03/03/2012 21:00 - 23:59 and 04/03/2012 23:59 - 05/03/2012 02:00.
This is the culmination of a three month program to upgrade the core network switching and routing infrastructure.
This work completes the upgrade of the core network to 10GB.

Impact
Due to the nature of this work there may be minor outages (less than a minute) in connectivity as VLANs move and converge. All efforts will be taken to minimise this impact.
