Please be advised of the following planned engineering works on the IP
Voice Services platform:

Date: Saturday, 18/02/2012 from 21:00 to 23:00

Purpose

The engineering team will be installing a new 10 Gigabit Module into a
switch stack in Telehouse West on 18/02/2012 21:00-23:00 to enable a
10 Gigabit connection to Telecity 8/9 to increase the capacity in
disaster recovery situations in line with projected growth on the
platform.

Impact

The duration of the work during the above window will be 5-10 minutes.
The majority of customers will be unaffected due to the redundant
nature of the network. Existing calls and new call attempts will be
unaffected as voice traffic will automatically failover to Telecity
connections whilst the switch connections are moved.

However, customers using connections that traverse BT NET may be
affected for 5-10 minutes during the work window.
