Please be advised of the following planned engineering works on the IP Voice Services platform:

Date: Friday, 17/02/2012 from 21:00 to 23:00

Purpose
The engineering team will be installing a new 10 Gigabit Module into a switch stack in Telecity 8/9 on 17/02/2012 21:00-23:00 to enable a 10 Gigabit connection to Telehouse West to increase the capacity in disaster recovery situations in line with projected growth on the platform.

Impact
Due to the redundant nature of the network existing calls and new call attempts will be unaffected as voice traffic will automatically failover to Telehouse connections whilst the switch connections are moved.
