[Comtec Announce] [IP Voice Services] - Planned Engineering Work: Thursday, 15/03/2012

Please be advised of the following planned engineering works on the IP Voice Services platform:

Date: 22:00 to 23:00 on Thursday, 15/03/2012

Purpose
The Engineering Team will be adding new connections into the internal network to further increase resiliency in anticipation of projected growth on 15/03/2012 22:00-23:00.

Impact
There may be a brief interruption to some services between 1-60 seconds as the services are migrated to the new connections. Due to the nature of the work, some calls in progress may experience a brief interruption of 2-3 seconds to media as the traffic automatically reroutes.
The majority of customers will be unaffected due to the redundant nature of the network.

If users do find that they are experiencing problems following the work we recommend that they reboot their device.
If a reboot does not resolve the issue then please raise a Technical Support Ticket via noc at comtec.com for investigation. NOC engineers will be available to handle any issues.
