[Sargasso Announce] PHP upgrades on old servers

This is advance notification that the web servers a4s, a5s, a8s and a9s
will be upgraded to PHP 5 on 4th January 2007. We will be upgrading to
PHP 5.2.0 or the latest stable version available at that time.

These servers are currently running PHP 4.3.11. There are a number of
changes from PHP4 to PHP5 that may affect your site, and you should
check whether this upgrade will affect you. There is information on the
PHP website at www.php.net, in particular:

     http://www.php.net/README_UPGRADE_51.php

The first version of PHP 5 was released in 2004 and the time has come to
upgrade servers running previous versions. If you have questions
concerns about the execution or timing of this upgrade, please get in
